Monroe County Habitat for Humanity to Hold Golf Tournament at Buck Hill Falls

Stroudsburg, PA, July 21, 2015 – Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will hold its 19th annual golf tournament followed by dinner on Friday, October 2, at the Buck Hill Falls Golf Club. The proceeds from this event will support Habitat’s Home Preservation program which allows homeowners affected by low income, age or disability to make necessary repairs to their homes.

“We’re delighted to invite golfers to play this legendary Donald Ross course,” said Kelly Kemmerer, Habitat’s executive director.  “They can enjoy a round of golf in a challenging yet beautiful setting, and know they’re helping Habitat achieve its goal of repairing 30 homes in Monroe County this year through our Home Preservation program.”

Contact Habitat for Humanity at 570 476-9846 or at executivedirector@habitatmc.org for information about sponsorships and to register for the event. The deadline is September 18.
