Habitat for Humanity Holds Second Warehouse Sale With Bargains for Public and Contractors

Tobyhanna, PA – If you missed Habitat for Humanity’s summer warehouse sale, don’t despair. On the heels of its successful warehouse sale in August, Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will hold a secondWarehouse Sale, on Saturday, October 13, from 9am-4pm, at the Mountain Center off Route 611, in Tobyhanna.

The Habitat for Humanity Warehouse Sale is a “home improvement thrift store” open to the public, according to Habitat’s executive director Kelly Kemmerer. “Anyone involved in home improvement projects can score great bargains on tile, carpet, doors, windows, fixtures, new paints in a variety of colors, and even cabinet-grade plywood,” Kemmerer said, “and we invite the public and contractors to check out our stock and take advantage of our great prices.”

“This Warehouse Sale includes some incredible construction and home improvement products thanks to generous contributions from Lowe’s and Cramer’s,” Kemmerer said.  “Their continuing support of Habitat’s mission and events is very much appreciated.”

The sale will take place in back of the Mountain Center, 354 Memorial Drive (off Route 611), in Tobyhanna and all proceeds will benefit Habitat’s Home Preservation initiative which allows homeowners affected by old age, low income, or disability to make necessary repairs on their homes.
