A full day of family friendly festivities is planned from noon to 8pm, featuring Sistah Chat’s Sara Smith Katz who will emcee the events.

“Participants and attendees will be treated to some very talented entertainers,” said Habitat’s executive director Kelly Kemmerer. “There will be musical performances by the band Woodrow and Byrd Pressely, and Mr. Mysterrio will surprise and delight with his magic tricks. DJ MVP will offer karaoke and even Elvis (Kevin MacIntire) will make an appearance. All that and more plus the exciting She Nailed Itcompetition ensure a truly special summer outing,” Kemmerer concluded.

“To date 8 teams have registered for the event which pits teams of four women against each other to see who can hammer the most nails into a 2×4 the fastest,” saidSophia McGuachie, event chair. “There’s always lots of excitement as these women go head to head in a nail-biting, nail-hammering competition to see who will benamed the 2019 She Nailed It champs.  The Weiler women will defend their 2018 title,” she said, “and certainly the challengers will create some intense action.”
